Do we have Power Yet? Living in the Midwest, this is a phrase that I have heard several times in the past few months. The weather being in extremes of 103 degree high heat to turbulent thunderstorms, we get accustomed to these intense changes in weather while trying to stay as safe and comfortable as possible.
In the past several weeks, many of us have suffered through power outages for a day or two and even up to a couple of weeks. Missing many simple items such as lights, air conditioning, refrigerators, freezers, hair dryers, and more. In addition, our favorite technological items such as pda's, mp3's, ipad's, computer's, mobile devices and more. In this day of modern conveniences, it causes you take a moment and not only appreciate what you have, but also ask, what you can do during this time of crazy weather, and power outages to make your life more comfortable for next time this happens.
